I have spent 30 years caring for patients with heart, circulation and related problems. Originally as a cardiovascular surgeon and more recently in the field of Preventive Medicine and Nutrition. As I look back at the progress of medicine, as well as my medical career, a number of events stand out and continue to amaze me.
